This Privacy Policy describes how National Inheritance Investigators LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses,

and retains personal information when you visit our websites, contact us, or use our services that help individuals locate and

recover unclaimed funds.

directly from you, from publicly available records (such as unclaimed property and probate records), from service

providers (e.g., hosting, email, identity verification), and, where applicable, from professional advisors (e.g., attorneys

services, respond to inquiries, and communicate with you.

Government IDs / Sensitive Personal Information (e.g., Social Security number, driver’s license, passport, date

of birth) — to verify identity, prepare and submit claim paperwork you authorize, prevent fraud, and comply with

law.

Customer records and financial information you provide (e.g., signatures, claim forms, supporting

documentation; limited payment information if you pay us) — to perform services, process payments, and maintain

Internet or device activity (e.g., basic analytics, logs) — to operate our site, measure performance, and detect

security incidents.

Inferences — we do not create automated inferences about you for marketing or profiling.

investigator agreement), information from public sources related to unclaimed property, and limited technical information

from your device or browser. The specific items collected depend on how you interact with us and whether you engage us to

prepare and submit claims on your behalf.

Provide, personalize, and improve our services;

Verify your identity and eligibility to claim funds; prepare, file, and track claim submissions you authorize;

Communicate with you about your inquiry or engagement;

Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;

Comply with contracts and applicable laws and respond to lawful requests;

Maintain internal records, bookkeeping, and business operations;

Operate our websites and perform basic analytics (we do not use cross-context behavioral advertising).

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to:

Service providers and contractors that process information for us (e.g., hosting, email, cloud storage, identity

verification, IT/security, payments) under written contracts;

Attorneys and professional advisors if you engage them or authorize us to work with them on your claim;

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do

not disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing services you request, security and integrity, or

as otherwise permitted by law.

Data Retention

We retain each category of personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above

and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. In setting retention periods, we consider factors such as: the

amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data; the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure; the purposes for

which we process it; applicable statutes of limitations; and legal/regulatory recordkeeping obligations. When no longer

needed, we delete or de-identify information consistent with our policies.

California Privacy Rights

If and to the extent we are a “business” under California law, California residents have the right to:

Know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you;

Request correction of inaccurate personal information;

Request deletion of personal information (subject to legal exceptions);

Opt out of sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share);

Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (we only use sensitive information to provide services

you request and permitted security/compliance purposes);

Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

If you are an online-only business with a direct relationship with the consumer, one method may

suffice. Otherwise, provide at least two methods. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding.

Opt-Out Preference Signals: If in the future we sell or share personal information, we will recognize and honor browser-

based opt-out signals (such as Global Privacy Control) as required by California regulations.

“Shine the Light” (California Civil Code § 1798.83)

We "DO NOT" disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. If this changes, California

residents may request, once per year and free of charge, information about the categories of personal information we

disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing in the prior calendar year and the names/addresses of those third parties.

Cookies and Online Tracking

Our site uses only necessary cookies and basic analytics. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. Your

browser may send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals; there is no industry consensus on how to respond to DNT, but we disclose

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you
